April Wrap Up

April was another decent reading month for me. *tralaalaaa, yes I’m very consistent, cuz I have read 4 books every month since January*

Let’s just jump into the wrap-up, shall weee?

    *linked to my goodreads reviews*

      1. Book Review: The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
      2. Book Review:The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
      3. Book Review: Sita’s Sister by Kavita KanΓ©

I had a satisfying month of blogging in April! Plus, I introduced a new feature on here! *Anj’s Ramblings* Yay! I’m so darn happy because this feature will let me share things with y’all that I don’t usually talk about (that is: things I’m passionate about, things that irk me, stories about myself and lots of other stuff). That aside, WE HIT 100 FOLLOWERS THIS MONTH! As part of the EXPECTO PAAPAARTAY, I have a thank you post up, in which you can comment your questions and I’ll give you the answers in a blogpost! CLICK HERE TO ASK YOUR QUESTIONS *-*

       Blogposts posted this month:

As I am a Litszomaniac, I love listening to music. *a lot* So, here are the top 5 songs I listened to, on repeat, this month:

        • ALEXANDER HAMILTON by Hamilton (ya heard right. I’m just getting into their stuff and I swear it’s heavenly)
        • BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS by Harper. (I discovered this last year and I loved it. So, an old favourite back from the dead, I guess? )
        • DESPERADO by Rihanna (hear me out, you guys. This song will make you feel badass. I swear)
        • PHIR BHI TUMKO CHAHUNGA by Arijit Singh (God. Bless. Arijit. Singh. I have no interest whatsoever in reading any of Chetan Bhagat’s books or watching the adaptations, but this song from ‘Half Girlfriend’ is simply mesmerising ahh)
        • KUTHU FIRE by Vidya Iyer (yup. I’m late)

        Classics Read: 0

Readathon Participated: Well, in the Tome Topple readathon, I didn’t even start a tome. Forget reading the whole thing. Plus, I felt lazy and I backed out of the Dewey’s 24 hour Readathon. I had achieved success in the readathon last year, but this year, not so much. Riya (a Nick name by yours truly) and I had a chat about it yesterday and yeah Riya, I can see you grinning πŸ˜‚

I don’t have a fixed TBR for this month, but, I didn’t end up finishing a lot of books which were in my TBR for last month, so, I’m hoping that I get to them this month.

Ah it’s coming out on May 2, what perfect timing from Anj’s side *she read The Hidden Oracle in April*

Also, look at this thing I designed! NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT, BUT YEAH, IM TRYING TO WORK OUT MY BUTTON! Hoping to set that up soon!

THAT’S A WRAP! Hope you guys liked reading this post!

        Until Next Time,

        Anj xx

Thanks so so so much for the mention XD i really want to read The Bone Season after your review, and I just so agree with you about The Vile Village, can’t wait for you to read more of that series. I’ve read all of them apart from book 13, the last and THE CLIFFHANGERS ARE KILLING ME. Lemony Snicket is truly awesome! OOH, love the button – it’s gorgeous!

I love “Alexander Hamilton”! I’ve been listening to “Welcome to Oblivion” by Madina Lake, “Na Na Na” by MCR, and “All Signs Point to Lauderdale” by A Day to Remember. ❀

All the Light We Cannot See is a "maybe" read for me, so I look forward to hearing your thoughts! I hope to get to The Thief by Stephanie Landsem, Mexico City Blues by Jack Kerouac, and Commonwealth by Ann Patchett in May πŸ™‚

I’ve been very indecisive on which one to pick *right from the theme* every now and then. AND YAAS I’M GOING TO BE MARATHONING ALL OF HAMILTON’S SONG SOON!

So, I’m really bad at keeping track of what other bloggers are writing. I saw this post only now, bad me.πŸ™ˆ

I really need to read All the Light We Cannot See too! All these ARCs take up too much time and there’s no time left to read the existing good books!πŸ˜“
